The 22rh422 was the smallest 2-way speaker from the Philips HIFI range at the time. The maximum wattage of these speakers is no less than 20 watts! Especially considering their bigger brother the 423 had the same wattage, but this speaker is also equipped with a larger woofer and the cabinets are also a bit bigger.
At first glance the cabinets look quite small and the cabinets are also not very deep. However, they are quite heavy, this is due to the large magnet of the woofer.
Despite the small woofer and the small cabinet, there is still a reasonable amount of bass to be heard and they also produce a warm sound. The highs are very detailed and pleasant to listen to. These speakers are at their best when connected to a philips amplifier from the 70s.
