Byōbu a sei pannelli con decorazione in foglia d'oro su carta, raffigurante un paesaggio lagunare con un villaggio situato lungo le rive di un corso d'acqua. La scena è arricchita da un elaborato decoro policromo, che include personaggi ritratti sulla riva, intenti nelle loro attività accanto a reti appese.
Sullo sfondo si intravede un paesaggio collinoso, mentre in primo piano spiccano alberi e una vegetazione tipica.
I pannelli sono circondati da bordi in seta con cornice in legno laccato e angolari in metallo.
---Il byôbu è in ottime condizioni. Sono presenti usure e screpolature della carta, specialmente tra le giunture. La cornice in lacca è stata completamente restaurata in modo professionale. Rintelato posteriormente. Si prega di vedere le foto per una maggiore chiarezza sul rapporto delle condizioni.
Il paravento può anche essere facilmente montato su una parete come se fosse un vero e proprio dipinto oppure come divisorio di ambienti.
