Chinese porcelain teapot undertray, pattipan – China- 18h Century
On offer is a Chinese porcelain hexagonal shaped underglaze blue-white teapot under-tray or pattipan with a nice well known decoration of a “Romance of the Western chamber” scene, written by Wang Shifu in the 13th Century. The scene shows the secret meeting at night, between Zhang Sheng and Cui Yingying, accompanied by her maid.
Date: Yongzheng to early Qianlong period ca. 1730-1740.
Size: Measures ca. 12,5cm across and ca. 2cm in height.
Condition: Damaged (broken) and restored to a stable and displayable condition.
Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace with insurance. Combined shipping possible, we return postage costs.
