Authentic Q’ero Ceremonial Set – Handwoven Mestana, Chakra Stones & Energy-Cleansing Tool

This unique ceremonial set originates from the Q’ero people of the Peruvian Andes, direct descendants of the Inca civilization. The set includes a handwoven mestana cloth, a collection of 7 carved ceremonial stones representing the chakras, and a symbolic energy-cleansing tool in the form of an "axe" with a snake motif. These items are deeply rooted in the Q’ero tradition of spiritual healing and energy work.

Provenance:
In 2007, I had the privilege of meeting three shamans from the Q’ero tribe during their visit to Norway. These shamans are descendants of the Inca priests, having preserved their spiritual practices after retreating into the mountains during the Spanish conquest. I acquired these ceremonial items directly from one of the shamans during their visit.

The mestana was handmade using traditional techniques and features vibrant colors and intricate patterns. It is typically used as a sacred cloth for altars or to hold ceremonial objects.
The carved stones (chumpi stones) represent the 7 chakras, with symbolic carvings of the powers that reside in each energy center.
The "axe," decorated with a snake motif, was explained to me as a tool for cutting away unwanted energies from the spiritual energy body.

Cultural Significance:
The Q’ero shamans are deeply connected to nature, energy, and the spirit world. They use tools like these during ceremonies to heal, align chakras, and honor Pachamama (Mother Earth). The snake motif on the "axe" symbolizes transformation and connection to the earth, while the stones are used for energy alignment and spiritual balance.

Additional Information:
The oldest of the shamans, Doña Maria, was over 90 years old and became a shaman after surviving multiple lightning strikes as a child—an event considered a spiritual calling in Andean culture. I had the honor of participating in their ceremonies, where tools like these, along with rattles, condor feathers, and fire, were used for energy work and blessings.

While I am 100% certain of the authenticity of these items, I cannot guarantee that they were used by these shamans, although it is probable based on their explanations and the context in which they were shared.

Condition:

The mestana is in excellent condition for its age, with vibrant colors and intact tassels.
The stones are well-preserved, with detailed carvings and no significant damage.
The "axe" shows signs of use, adding to its authenticity and charm.
Dimensions:

Mestana: Approximately 40 x 50 cm (excluding tassels)
Stones: Each stone measures 3–5 cm
Axe: Approximately 20 cm

Pictures and Provenance:
Pictures of the shamans and the ceremonies (including myself in the photos) are available upon request for the buyer. Due to a current move, these cannot be added to this listing at this time.

Très très belle lampe conforme à la description. L’emballage est très soigné pour permettre une arrivée et une découverte sans faille d’un objet tout de même fragile, merci 🙏🏻

I have tried my best over time helping you, so I think this is unfair. I think it is sad that this became a negative experience for you and that there was issues with your order. I have tried to help you even if you think otherwise. To register a damage or a claim to the freight company they need evidence that something has happened. A picture of the damaged package and a picture of the label so they can see that it is the correct package. That is the three things I have asked for several times. If these are not present, the freight company does not know if the claim is real or a scam. Then they will dismiss the request because there is no evidence. A claim also has to be delivered within a time after receiving the package. I have requested these from you several times - but I have not received anything and time has been passing. So I apologize that I was not able to help you with this. I hope that you get better experiences later.

Thank you very much for the beautiful watch. Despite the problems with the transport, but the seller was helpful, and resolved problem. Therefore, our big thanks to the seller. Recommended. Thanks.
