Here is a remarkable quality, highly glossy pink fluorite from the Mont-Blanc!
It features a focal 1.2 cm edge octahedron, extremely sharp, emerging from a mass of saturated pink fluorite (with a hint of orange) on a white protogine granitic matrix.
The crystal quality is really outstanding: you will often see dull, chloritized or naturally etched fluorites from the Mont-Blanc but here all the faces are perfectly 'fresh', with high lustre and clearness.
Truly a fine specimen of iconic alpine pink fluorite!
