The PH4/3 pendant was launched in 1966. It is designed according to the same principle as the other 3-screen system. Poul Henningsen designed the 3-screen system already in 1925-1926, when PH in collaboration with Louis Poulsen designed the first lamps for an exhibition in Paris.

The lamp then won the highest distinction at the World Exhibition in Barcelona. Over the years, the metal pendants have been produced in many different sizes and colours. The PH 4/3 series were the last lamps, designed by Poul Henningsen before his death in 1967.
