The Glenlivet Groundbreaker collection – Chapter One: The Journey Inward. The Glenlivet Groundbreaker Collection is a new, limited edition collection created exclusively for Travel Retail. Each chapter celebrates original artists who, through travel, have set new standards in their artistic craft.

The Glenlivet Groundbreaker takes inspiration from Hong Yi’s artistic style and her alias ‘Red’ to influence our whisky: after maturation in European and American Oak, a portion of the whisky is selectively finished in double-charred American Oak and European Red Wine casks – a first for The Glenlivet. The journey taken by our Single Malt Whisky mirrors that of the Red’s own journey – one of inner and outer transformation.
