Professional apochromatic lens for Polar photos. Lenses with fluorite glass. More specialized than the Sonnar CF 5.6/250 with T* treatment. The Sonnar 5.6/250 mm with the addition “Superachromat” has a previously unattained perfect color correction. With this lens, the secondary spectrum - the dominant image error in long focal length lenses - is eliminated for the entire spectral range from approx. 400 to 1000 nm. Visual focusing with visible light therefore guarantees optimum image sharpness even when using infrared or false color film.
The lens shutter works perfectly at all speeds, focusing and stopping run smoothly as well as the speed selection. Lenses are clear and clean with no scratches dust, or fungus. Blades are free from oil.
