Tang mirrors have their origin in the preceding Han period. The Tang dynasty extends over an even very long period, namely over 300 years. The impact of the population during this very long period is of course enormous. The fashion phenomenon has its origins in the very early Han Dynasty period (which precedes the Tang Dynasty), as an outgrowth of the period over tremendously finely crafted bronze vessels.
