Beautiful celadon water jar for tea ceremony
A beautiful, translucent celadon.
The simple design makes it a suitable tea ceremony tool.
It also has a nice atmosphere as an interior decoration.
Artist: Miyanaga Tozan II (1907-1995)
A potter active in Kyoto during the Showa period. Son of Miyanaga Tozan I.
In 1941, he took on the name Miyanaga Tozan II.
The condition is good with no chips.
The ninth photo looks like a chip, but it's just the glaze peeling off.
I don't think it detracts from the atmosphere of the piece.
