A beautifully well-aged 52 (!) year old Single Grain from closed Lowland distillery Carsebridge. Once one of the biggest grain distilleries in Scotland, it has only ever been bottled as a single grain with a high age statement by independent bottlers like this one from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. As a result of its closure in 1983, Carsebridge stocks are now running low. A useful gimmic for those traveling to London: on the back label of this whisky there's a voucher for a secret off-menu cocktail at the Black Rock. Only 285 bottles were produced, this is bottle no 226.
