A Sony TRV-110E Digital 8 camcorder in clean condition and in working order.

This, as. you probably already know, will allow you to insert an old analog Hi8 or Video 8 8mm tape and then output them as a digital file direct to a computer (with the use of a suitable cable - cable not supplied). Very few Sony Digital 8 cameras can do this. It automatically detects tapes recorded in Video8 and Hi8 (long and short play) and can output them as a digital signal over a firewire cable.
I used to do this with the help of an old iMac 2006 on iMovie, and after put in on a usb/harddrive and use it on a new computer to edit.
But also possible on a new computer with an adapter.
