A rare mochica, hand-built pottery, bichrome vessel with lenticular body and stirrup-shaped handle and a tapered spout with a thin rim. The top of the vessel with very realistic hollow skeletal head with sunken eyes and large mouth. Body decorated with large necklace and the arms of the figure holding implements. | Moche. Peru. 200 - 600 A.D.
Dimensions: 27,00 cm.
Condition: Some surface wear. Restored on the base of the tubular spout. Good condition.
Provenance: Spanish Private Collection. By descent from familly collection since 1970's.
