Born in the U.S.A. is Bruce Springsteen's seventh studio album.
It was released in 1984 and is by far Springsteen's best-selling album. It stayed at number one on the charts for weeks in the USA, Great Britain and Germany, among others.
In the United States, Born in the U.S.A. was on the charts for 139 weeks and sold 15 million copies. Worldwide sales are around 35 million, which makes the album one of the most successful albums.
The seven singles for the album all reached the top 10.
