A silver sitting Buddha on throne travelling talisman from the ancient Khmer culture, second millennium AD, Oudong Period ( 1618 - 1863 ).
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand . Original, ancient, hand forming,casting,carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface. Due to the intensive use part of the silver foil is missing.
Purchased in 1983/Budapest by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former ambassador in Cambodia.
