Franz Xavier Bergman (Austrian, 1861-1936) - A Viennese cold painted bronze sculpture of a group of Arabs and a dog under a tent. One is lying on a rug, one is seated and smoking. The tent weathered by sun and winds. The sculpture is embellished with cold painted accents.

Early 20th Century, ca. 1900s.

Signed twice with Franz Bergman trade marks and 'Geschutzt' marks. Both stamped to the base. One Bergman trade mark and 'Geschutzt' mark with number "4219" under the seated smoking person. The second Bergman trade mark and 'Geschutzt' mark on a side of the tent. Stamped twice to the base with number "2", under the rug of the lying person.

Preserved in good conditions, with some wear to the paint commensurate with its age (please see detailed photos for accurate condition).

Height: 7.5 cm; width: 16.5 cm, depth: 15 cm.
