The IYRU Fifteen Metre class yachts were constructed to the First International rule of 1907. A total of twenty 15mR yachts were built between 1907 and 1917, the four that have survived are still actively raced. The 15-Metre class is a construction class, meaning that the boats are not identical but are all designed to meet specific measurements in a formula.
TUIGA was the Yacht number eight, launch in 1909. William Fife III was its designer and the first owner was 17th Duke of Medinaceli. The sailboat bears the symbol D3 as sail identifier. The entire crew is identified by this symbol D3. This legendary sailboat belongs to the Monaco Yacht Club.

I’m sorry for your disappointment. Print had mild imperfections as indicated, not interfering with image and not visible with proper framing. Over 20 years old print. Nevertheless, it is my policy that if the client is not happy, for whatever reason, can always return the print. Please let me know if that is the case.
