This special limited edition illy Art Collection was designed by renown Spanish film director Pedro Almodóvar to coincide with the release of his film in 2009, Los Abrazos Rotos (Broken Embraces). The single signed and numbered espresso cup features a portrait of Penélope Cruz in a colorful, Warhol-esque Pop-Art style. Penélope Cruz is the lead actress of the film and an iconic presence in Almodóvar’s work.
This cup has a very low number as you can see in the pictures: number #0124
Pedro Almodovar recently won the Golden Lion Award for “The Room Next Door” during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at Palazzo del Cinema on September 07, 2024 in Venice, Italy
The cup and the box are in absolute mint condition. Including original Outer carton. The cup will be shipped in a larger box to be sure it is protected properly.
