A beautiful quality large charger dating from the later part of the Qing dynasty decorated in blue and white, depicting a landscape scene with a small village surrounded by water and mountain on the background. Small figures attending their daily business.
The charger is probably made for the Vietnamese market, so called Bleu de Hue. As it is very similar in decoration style. This style is known for a strong single depiction of a single subject and lots of negative space.
Dimensions: 41,7 x H7,3 cm
Condition:
In good condition. One hairline, small baking flaws (footrim glaze burst, kilngrit stuck to the backside some glaze defects) and small scratches and stains.
Checked with strong UV light for defects.
Shipping method: The item is securely packed and shipped with insurance WITHOUT stand or doll house vase.
