Beautiful Unique Antique Himalayan/Tibetan Singing Bowl
Meditation Sound Instrument
Used in Buddhist Traditions

The colour of the metal is rich with warm undertones and nice dark patina.
Lovely markings on the outer edge.
Beautiful vibrant bright sound, powerful for it's size, as you would expect from quality antique bowls.
Please see photographs and video link below.

The sound is crisp and clear.

It has been used during meditation and sound therapy gatherings and in private sessions in various countries of Europe by a professional meditation and healing facilitator, Danusia, trained in person by Geshe Ratsa Rinpoche, from Bon Tradition as well as with maestros curanderos from Amazon.

This bowl is being sold for the reasons of changing the harmony of sounds in the very large personal singing bowl collection that is used to facilitate group and individual meditations and is now surplus to requirements.

It is one of a kind bowl with plenty of use history and a wonderful rich sound.

Technical parameters:

12cm diameter (width)
6cm height total
316g

D4 298Hz hit G5# 814Hz rotate

Remember that the Hz and sounds change depending on where exactly you strike the mallet/striker and what type of tool you use (wooden/felt/striker/mallet etc).

They were not edited, to keep as natural rendition as possible, however remember that each camera/monitor/browser renders colours differently. Any difference of colour between pictures and the real object you are about to receive when you win is normal, expected and it not subject to any dispute.

P. S. Buying tips for you.
If you want to get really high quality rare grade singing bowl, you need to look away from the "fancy" looking ones, you know, the ones with decorative patterns of buddha or Om symbols, colourful (red, blue, violet etc) metalic ones, these are factory made by the hundreds, for tourists and those who really don't know what to look for and just fall for something that on the surface looks "místical" or "traditional tibetan" etc. These aren't unique, nor antique nor handcrafted and can be put in a category of a nice souvenir.
Quality items will have irregular edges, either very thick or very thin, often show patina, have hand made irregular markings like circles or dots around the outer edges, the surface (if it's not covered in patina) usually is very silky matted smooth for antique bowls vs very shiny brassy polished surface of newly made, the metal could be with different colour because of distinct composition (% of metals used vary), shapes will also be different, like manipuri, jhumka, thado, lingam, naga, gral, etc...Also the larger, the rarer too, as obviously harder to make (this applies to more modern ones especially).

Ik ben er erg blij mee. Het ziet er goed (oud) uit en belangrijker, het klinkt heel mooi en heeft een prachtige nagalm. Deze singing bowl (toon A dominant) raakt mij en er gebeurt iets in me.
