The Colours of Rum had the idea to take the same new make from Hampden Estate and mature it in different Sherry cask types to capture the nuanced influence of the sherry cask on the bold, high ester Jamaican rum.
Each of these rums was distilled in April 2023, with the highest possible esters content (DOK mark) and bottled after just 9 months of maturation in 1st fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. These editions are limited to 323 (Oloroso) and 329 (PX) bottles.
