How often do you come across something like this? Thé rare and really difficult to find US ARMY RECIPE Book from 1944 for army cooks and field kitchens close to the front lines. It lists a very large amount of recipes and drinks (coffee, and so forth) that would be prepared for the US soldiers! An unique insight into the food provided to US soldiers at the front lines. In used but VERY nice condition still - most of these manuals are in particular bad condition. These would have been the ones used by Army cooks in the winter of 1944 and afterwards.
