Fargues has established itself as one of the greatest wines of Sauternes. Powerful but incredibly elegant, this nectar is so rich and smooth that it is almost syrupy. It offers complex and tasty aromas of citrus, exotic fruits and broom, but also toast and sweet spices. Perhaps the signature of Fargues is as it ages this delicious aroma of bitter orange that it deploys. It is definitely a great sweet wine made for aging.
