Rara caminiera n 2 o kaminsessel della Gebuder Thonet. Easy chair, erano chiamate proprio così, easy , in entrambe le versioni
1 e 2, con e senza braccioli che parrebbe quasi riduttivo, forse, ma non per gli inglesi che, probabilmente , in quel termine sintetizzavano l'essenza stessa di quella strana sedia. Era il 1866, con molta problema quando questo oggetto vide la luce. Sono passati molti anni ed è storia del design internazionale e la loro linea è, ancora oggi sguardo proiettato al futuro e poi neanche: sono, e rimarranno, senza un tempo e se di tempo vogliamo parlare è un tempo fluttuante; è un ukiyo-e, direbbe Wright: un'onda di Hokusai.
Richiede qualche intervento conservativo: vedi foto. In patina ancora originale, ma con inevitabili segni del tempo. Paglia di Vienna bucata in diversi punti . Come potete vedere dalle foto( è evidenziato) il marchio "Thonet" non è in etichetta o marchiato a fuoco, ma è inciso nel legno, sotto la seduta, come verificabile nelle rare kkiaminsessel visibili in rete.
