A Rare and Beautiful Sawankhalok Celadon Jarlet
13th-15th Century AD

Globular Jar with two lug handles and raised neck. Stoneware with a band of incised lotus petals framed by two bands of incised rings on the shoulder covered in celadon glaze all the way to the foot. Raised recessed foot with a tubular kiln support mark.

Condition:
The glaze is good and glossy. There is some kiln-induced grit clinging to the surface. The mouth is missing in two places, about 1cm and 0.8cm in length respectively.
