Reverse: Depicts the eastern façade of Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home.

1996 Half Dollar was one of four commemorative half dollars issued for the Atlanta XXVI Olympiad Summer Games.

Contains Copper/Nickel bonded to an inner core of Pure Copper.
Coin comes in capsule,
Obverse: Features a swimmer in the middle of the breaststroke.
Reverse: Shows the Olympic flame and logo surrounded by the inscription "United States of America", “E Pluribus Unum” and “Atlanta 1996”.
