Fireside blended malt is a limited release comprising whiskies from two distinctive Islay distilleries, Caol Ila and Bunnahabhain.
Launched in celebration of Feis Ile 2024, it was matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez, oloroso and re-charred Spanish wine casks.
The components come together to create an unctuous heavily peated dram with notes of charred oak, dark chocolate, tobacco and a long, smoky finish with hints of candied strawberry.
