As is the recipe for all of Blood Oath's exceptional, acclaimed blended whiskeys, Pact No. 6 elegantly combines a trio of ryed, aged bourbons, blending a 14-year-old, 8-year-old, and 7-year-old with aplomb. What is unique about Pact No. 6 is that - unlike previous releases where each bourbon is aged and finished individually before being married and blended - the 6th installment departs from this ethos, finishing all three bourbons in Cognac casks post-marriage. The result is an elegant, mature and spritely whiskey, with Pact No. 6 renowned as a formidable piece of whiskey engineering that amplifies the fruity and caramel flavors for which cognac is loved.
A must-have for any Bourbon collector. Hard to find in Europe.
