Martin Parr (1952) - Damascus, 2005

This is an incredibly rare signed original limited edition photographic print from the wonderful photographer Martin Parr titled Damascus where it was photographed and published by Martin Parr in 2005 as part of a project around food from across the world. The artwork is printed on high quality AGFA Sensatis paper and features a classic example of Martin Parr's extraordinary documentary photography. It is also signed, titled and numbered from a very small edition of just 5 on the back. The print measures 17.9 x 24.5 cm and is in excellent unframed condition.

Martin Parr was born in 1952 and is a British documentary photographer and photojournalist renowned known for his photographic projects that take an intimate, satirical and anthropological look at aspects of modern life.

Martin Parr has had around 40 solo photobooks published, and has featured in around 80 exhibitions worldwide – including the international touring exhibition ParrWorld, a retrospective at the Barbican Arts Centre, London and the Tate.
