Unfortunately, all the wine was spoiled. The seller did not indicate this in his ad. I did contact both the seller and Catawiki itself. I hope for a good solution.

Hello and thanks for your purchase! We put the maximum attention to the quality of the wine we sell here on the platform and to its conservation. As visibile also from the photos all levels and colors are great. We've also tried 3 or 4 bottles from the same lot and the same vintage and were pretty nice. That said, after 60 years the quality of every single cork can influence a lot the result in the glass and it's possible that not every bottle is perfect but it's unlikely that every bottle is defected. It was your first experience with vintage Barolo?

No issues with purchasing or shipping, order came very well packed. However the brut I purchased turned out to be unfit for consumption.

Buonasera, mi dispiace per la sua esperienza negativa. Si tratta di spumanti con oltre 40 anni di età ed è assolutamente normale che abbiano perso quasi completamente il perlage e si esprimano su note candite e mature. Sono proprio ricercati per queste caratteristiche e per la spiccata acidità figlia del clima di quegli anni

Boxed and packed very well. Bottles all look good just to try on Xmas day now. So fingers crossed. Thanks very much seller Antique Expert. UPDATE Wine was lovely so glad I won this item. Thank U x
