This stylish vase is the ROMEO model from the Luxval collection from 1935, by the Belgian glass and crystal factory Val Saint Lambert. The designs of wavy lines on the lower part of the vase and the stylized flowers on the handles are typical Art Deco decorations. Above the wavy decoration, the belly of the vase is divided into vertical sections of faceted panels rising to a scalloped edge at the top. The colour is a less common Amber, the height 22cm. and the diameter 12.0cm.. and the vase stands on a three-stepped foot of 11cm.

In the 1930's Val Saint Lambert produced a machine-made product-line with the name 'LUXVAL", made of pressed decorative Art Deco glass, but designed by top designers such as Charles Graffart and René Delvenne. The low-priced Luxval series appeared next to the collections of fine and expensive hand-made crystal products. Luxval products have today become much sought-after collectors pieces.

Careful packaging will ensure a safe delivery. See my feedback on Catawiki.

Dank!

Groetjes, Kay
