You can sell on Catawiki as an individual or as a company. If you sell for your business, you are considered a professional seller.

Update to professional seller

Catawiki sellers can update to professional status. 

Sellers based in the EU need to provide their:

• Company name
• VAT number (https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/)
• Chamber of commerce number

Sellers not based in the EU need to provide their:

• Company name
• VAT number (if there is one) 
• Chamber of Commerce number  (if applicable)

If your country doesn’t require a Chamber of Commerce number, contact our Customer Experience specialists for further instructions. You can do that here. 

Create a professional seller account

After you create an account, you can indicate that you want to be a seller. 

Professional sellers should select the “Company/Business” option.

Additional obligations

Once you become a professional seller, you can not undo this process. Professional sellers are subject to the EU consumer withdrawal policy.
