Beautiful original picture book by Lothar Meggendorfer: INTERNATIONALER CIRCUS
With eight colour lithographs, six of which have hinged parts. Original half-linen binding with colourful illustrated covers.
This is not a reproduction, but an original by Lothar Meggendorfer. This rare edition is an original fourth edition ("Vierte Auflage") dating from around the turn of the century in 1900.
Once set up, a complete circus ring is created in a semi-circle, with artists, clowns, riders, orchestra and audience playing on a maximum of three levels.
A few images are missing and the left side of the grandstand is loose. Otherwise, the book looks good for a book of more than 120 years. Use the photos to get an impression.

Once set up, it has a length of approx. 120 cm
