'Choice Examples of the Engraver's Art', a lavishly illustrated large antique book with a a selection of material from the world's of art and letters, published by Hamilton, Adams, in London. The inside cover inscription is dated 1885. Very good original first edition copy, elaborately gilt blocked red cloth over bevelled boards, tight and with no loose pages but with minor scuffing and marks to the cover, light foxing, remains well-preserved overall. The book measures 29x 39cm (11.5" x 15.25") and weighs 3.3kg (7.25lbs), this is a substantial and impressive tome.
