This is a single volume from the illustrated historical text "Ehon Nankōki" (絵本楠公記), authored by Yamada Tokuōsai (山田得翁斎), also known as Yamada no Kakashi (山田案山子). The illustrations are by Hayami Shungyōsai (速水春暁斎), an artist active between 1767 and 1823. Originally published between Kansei 12 (1800) and Bunka 6, this work is part of a complete series comprising 3 parts with 30 volumes. The book recounts the life and exploits of Kusunoki Masashige, a revered figure in Japanese history known for his loyalty and bravery.
