This watch is made of an extremely rare & precious metal by the name of Palladium.
Palladium is 20 times rarer than gold & is of the platinum family.

Ulysse Nardin: luxury Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1846 in Le Locle, Switzerland.
The company became known for manufacturing highly accurate marine chronometers and complicated precision exclusive timepieces used by over 50 of the world's navies from the end of the 19th century till 1950. According to the last official report of Neuchâtel Observatory in Switzerland, Ulysse Nardin had won numerous awards and honors for its marine chronometers from 1846 to 1975, including 4324 certificates, 2411 special prizes and 18 gold medals at International exhibitions.
The company was taken over and re-invigorated in 1983 by Rolf W. Schnyder who transformed it into a profitable business. From 2014, it was a subsidiary of the French luxury group Kering. Ulysse Nardin has operated out of the same building headquartered in Le Locle, Switzerland since 1865.

Palladium is a chemical element; it has symbol Pd and atomic number 46. It is a rare and lustrous silvery-white metal discovered in 1802 by the English chemist William Hyde Wollaston. Palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium form a group of elements referred to as the platinum group metals (PGMs). They have similar chemical properties, but palladium has the lowest melting point and is the least dense of them.
More than half the supply of palladium and its congener platinum is used in catalytic converters, electronics, dentistry, medicine, hydrogen purification, chemical applications, groundwater treatment, and jewelry. Palladium is a key component of fuel cells, in which hydrogen and oxygen react to produce electricity, heat, and water.
Ore deposits of palladium and other PGMs are rare. The numerous applications and limited supply sources result in considerable investment interest.

General professional pre-sale service was made in October 2024: the watch is keeping good time and working perfectly.
Excellent condition, never worn: the wristwatch comes from luxury watch-shop showcase; leather straps often suffer from temperature in shop windows due to powerful spotlights, that's why the strap is replaced with brand-new one.
