Age: Middle Jurassic, Bathonian-Callovian, 167.7–164.7 Ma
Size: 2,3cm - Matrix: 3cm

Observations: This theropod tooth is of exceptional rarity, still preserved in its natural matrix. In the Middle Jurassic of the Mers Formation, several megalosaurids have been found that are still undescribed officially along other theropods. So far only a few isolated teeth have been found. This is a nice example of them. It has no restorations, pristine as found in its natural matrix. Outstanding black enamel color. Unusual specimen.
