Rare mid-century Roth Keramik vase in vivid glossy red outlined with bubbly black fat lava glaze. Referred to as the "Lozenge Vase", the vase was designed by Dorothea Roth. It was manufactured in West Germany by ROTH Keramik factory in 1970s and carries a model number 309. The vase features an exquisite modernist design and is hand-painted.

The vase is a truly iconic piece from the fat lava era of 1970’s and one of the finest examples of fat lava vases by Roth Keramik, West Germany.
