An Antique Georgian Regency Sterling Silver handsome pair of large table candlesticks. Decorated bodies with applied acanthus leaves and hand-chased floral and shell borders and nozzles. Original wooden and velvet bases. Beautifully crested on the bases. Made in Sheffield, 1832 (192 years old) Made by Creswick & Co (Thomas, James & Nathaniel Creswick at Paternoster Row) Fully English hallmarked for sterling silver. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are: Length 28.5 cm Wide at base 13.8 x 13.8 cm Approx. 1133 + 1016 = 2149 gram (weighted for stability) (bobèches weigh 86 grams together) Condition: Very good condition. Hallmarks on the base slightly rubbed. One tiny indentation in the top of the scone (not noticable with the scone on top of it). One candlestick has a small lean, depending how you position it.
