Antique silver-plated large entrée vegetable serving dish dating to the Edwardian period. Oblong serpentine body is trimmed with elegant reeded raised borders. The lock-twist handle is removable, so both halves of the dish can be used for serving.
The lid is engraved with the Hamilton family aristocratic crest of an antelope holding a human heart and their motto in Latin.

Excellent antique condition. Very light wear to silvering on base.
