Here is a rare original vintage Danish travel poster advertising travel to Copenhagen and its famous Tivoli Park, designed by Des Asmussen (1913 - 2004) and signed in the plate.
This beautiful poster depicts a stunning fireworks display at night, in front of the arched entrance way to the Tivoli Park, with the tagline “Wonderful Copenhagen” written at the top of the poster.
Printers information is printed in the bottom boarder.

Tivoli Gardens was founded in 1843 and is both a Danish treasure and an international attraction.

Tivoli’s oldest and most popular ride, the wooden Roller Coaster from 1914, is one of only seven roller coasters worldwide which have a brakeman on board every train.

Condition: B, rolled, unbacked, strong fresh colours, with creasing, a couple of small losses to the boarders, and some small tears to the left hand boarder of the poster.
