The 1A Gift Kodak is by far the most beautiful Art Deco camera that Kodak brought to the market. From the studios of Walter Dorwin Teague in New York, who has designed a large number of special design cameras for Kodak. Released as a Christmas gift in 1930/1931, this camera was only on the market for less than one year in a limited edition of only 10,000 pieces. Particularly beautiful is the cedar box in which the camera is stored and on which the same Art Deco pattern is applied as on the barrel bottom of the camera and the lens panel. This camera is collected by both photography and Art collectors. Some corrosion on the non working shutter. Owner initials nicely engraved on the part that was intended.
