From the famous workshop of Gamil Georges in Cairo, Egypt 1960's, this oud is made in the Arabic style, and typically tuned C-F-A-D-G-C from low to high.
This instrument has a rich and dark timbre, with a very resonant bass. Beautifully inlaid, all solid woods.
This instrument comes with the original soft bagg.
Hand crafted with very special design and decorations. Amazing structure and texture decorated.
The OUD is the traditional instrument of Turkey, but other neighboring countries are remaking the instrument and using the Turkish in their classical music.
An instrument with large belly, short and curved handles, bars and plectrum. The rear part with the back is made of 19 or 21 wooden planks. The torso is hollow.
*must be fitted with new strings
