boards, with gold lettering & decorations; multi-coloured paper illustrations laid on front
cover.
Published in support of Ortego’s claim that a first folio in his possession had
annotations in Cervantes’ own hand, and that later editors had mishandled the text.
The claim was widely rejected by Cervantine scholars. Published in similar style &
format to the Asensio’s edition of Don Quijote
