Very beautiful and graceful Art Deco dancer of considerable size on a great, stepped marble base made of Nero Portoro and white marble. The figure is in a restored and very good condition. It is a guaranteed original sculpture from the Art Deco era. Classic and graceful pose of the dancer, very beautiful in all details. The figure is a full cast of Zamack, as it was common for the time and was reproduced in smaller editions. Information to the foundry mark: Fabrication Francaise Paris, made in Paris, France. This was a foundry in Paris that recast French bronzes and ironwork in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The circular foundry sign has this name at the top, an image of a burning crucible in the middle, with the words “Made in France” at the bottom of the circle. The foundry mark reads “Made in France” in English Due to the US Trade Act of 1891, which required all imports to be labeled with the country of origin.
