A fine Ancient Roman brown agate intaglio set in a ferrous bezel of a ring that now broke off. The intaglio depicts mirrored figural scene with two figures in floor-length robes, each supporting a cornucopia, facing each other and holding hands. Above them, two profile busts with radiate crowns are floating. Between the two figures, possibly two Fortuna's, is an inscription that reads 'MIA'. The oval bezel has corroded with age, with some tarnish transfering onto the agate. The piece is supplied with museum quality impression.

Rings were widely worn by men, women, and children, across the empire, with some rings having a practical use, such as signets, whilst others purely for decoration.
