Shino glaze is well known for it's delicate looks. It gives the ceramics a beautiful glow that imitates dusty snow. This Chawan was made by the Fushan ovens. You can see that this Chawan is dipped in the glaze by hand.
A Chawan is a Japanese tea bowl without ears to prepare Matcha tea and to drink the tea from. The Chawan's are unique and handmade so they are al unique.
The tea ceremony is a spiritual moment in which people withdraw from everyday life and pause for a moment to reflect on themselves. A moment of seclusion and mental and physical peace.
