[Expert's remark: E. Neiraud is one of the many lost independent producers of the Charentes. The company started out in 1897 as distillers in Solençon and Tuileries de Boutiers. They also released cognacs under their own label, probably in relatively small quantities. In the 1930s, the widow of Ernest Neiraud started to register the labels. Her last entry was in 1949.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find out whether the brand was sold to become an export brand for a bigger producer or whether the family continued on. I have found some labels that appear to be from the 1960s. - ES]
