Condition.
A stunning example of this edition which is classified among the "incunabula of chromolithography" of 174 pages, on thick paper entirely lithographed in color and gold, illuminated text enhanced with gold including title and table.
Seventeen full-page illustrations. Illuminated text heightened with gold. Text in red, blue, gold and black, illustrations and rich gold ornaments and bright colors. Mainly lithographed by H. Moulin after A. Ledoux and H. Soltau & Coffetier.
Full dark brown morocco, covers exquisitely stamped and decorated with a wonderful 'strapwork'
All edges gilt, Clasp, missing metal fleuron on the lower cap, the copy remain in very good condition.
ps. one page has old tape repaired.
Dimension : 155 mm x 120 mm.
