Waterman (華特曼) - CF - 自來水筆

Waterman CF pen in Sterling Silver with a barley pattern, with a working, tested original converter and an inlaid 18K Gold Nib.

The pen is in good condition, with some markings and shading consistent with its age. Its patina is definitely a feature rather than an issue. It is a nice smooth writer, very comfortable in the end. The cap posts, and closes with the simple, satisfying click that is a Waterman trademark. It will be shipped in an original Waterman vintage gift box (pictured).

For reference, the simple, understated CF line is one of the most elegant ever designed by Waterman. It originated in 1954, introducing the first successful cartridge filling fountain pen. CF pens were originally made in the USA then in the UK and finally many were made in France. CF cartridges are no longer made for the pens but this model comes with an original converter in working order and thus can be used with bottled ink.
